Created as a student film exploring themes of modern communication and human connection, "Please Hold" developed into a festival circuit success story. As Director of Photography, the challenge was creating intimacy within technological disconnection - a visual paradox that drove every creative decision.
The cinematography focused on making audiences feel the characters' isolation and longing for genuine connection. Through strategic use of close-ups, natural lighting, and deliberate camera movement, the visual approach prioritised emotional truth over technical spectacle.
The film's recognition across seven international film festivals validated this approach to narrative cinematography, proving that strong visual storytelling can elevate any project - regardless of budget or scale.
